Human Interest share final EP reveal, "Nuclear War"
East London-based band Human Interest have shared "Nuclear War" as the third preview of their forthcoming EP, Smile While You're Losing (An Audio Guide To Wellness).
Detailing their newest offering, co-lead vocalist Cat Harrison stated: “‘Nuclear War’ is inspired by the notion of nuclear anxiety, and the contemplation of death and afterlife which inherently accompanies that. Within that process is the sad reminder of the cyclical and destructive nature of man, and how right Plato was when he said ‘only the dead have seen the end of war’. It also touches on how nuclear anxiety can be a metaphor for the mundane anxieties we experience in everyday life.”
The track follows previous singles, "Shapeshifting" and "Better Press Repeat".
The forthcoming release is the follow-up to last year's debut studio EP, Empathy Lives in Outer Space. Human Interest will celebrate the release of their forthcoming EP with a headline show at The Lexington on 13 September.
Smile While You're Losing (An Audio Guide to Wellness) is out on 6 September via Nice Swan Records. For tickets to their forthcoming headline show, visit dice.fm.
