Hope Tala shares new song "Stayed at the Party"
Hope Tala has followed up August's "Leave It On The Dancefloor" with new track "Stayed at the Party".
Ahead of opening for Florence + The Machine at LA's Hollywood Bowl tonight and tomorrow, Hope Tala has unveiled a new song titled "Stayed at the Party", which follows August's "Leave It On The Dancefloor" and was written with, and produced alongside Greg Kurstin.
The West London artist says of the track, ""Stayed at the Party", which I wrote in the summer of 2021 in my bedroom, was born out of a time in which I was thinking a lot about the importance of my personal relationships as a symptom of what was going on in the world around me. During and after the lockdowns, I found myself gravitating towards two seemingly juxtaposing writing topics - partying and existential dread. This song looks at both of these things and finds a relationship between them."
She's yet to follow up her 2020 project Girl Eats Sun.
Hope Tala's "Stayes at the Party" track is out now.
