Hayley Williams describes working with David Byrne as "really incredible"
Last month, US Record Store Day Ambassadors Paramore revealed that they will be sharing an exclusive 12" featuring David Byrne.
The forthcoming release will be a split single which features their cover of Talking Heads' "Burning Down The House", from A24's tribute album, Everyone’s Getting Involved which sees the likes of Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, The National, girl in red, BADBADNOTGOOD, The Linda Lindas, Blondshell, The Cavemen, Jean Dawson, Kevin Abstract, Toro y Moi, and more coming together to reimagine sounds from the iconic soundtrack, Stop Making Sense.
The B-side will feature previously unheard cover of Paramore's "Hard Times", by David Byrne himself. Speaking to Brooklyn Vegan, Hayley Williams revealed that the collaboration was put in motion after Byrne saw Paramore at Madison Square Garden last year.

Sharing as much as she could about the release, Williams said that the first demo she heard of Byrnes' cover, was "like the earliest of Talking Heads things".
"Nobody sounds like David Byrne anyway, but when it's our melodies and the little parts that he included, and even the parts that he omitted, it says so much about how he creates, and what he hears, and where he places value," she added. "When we heard the finished version with the horns and stuff, it's really unbelievable."
Paramore recently made history as the first female-fronted band to win Best Rock Album at the Grammys since solo artists Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow won the award in the ’90s.
The 12" vinyl will be available exclusively at participating record stores. For more information, visit recordstoreday.co.uk.
