Harry Styles on future acting roles: "I don't imagine I'd do a movie for a while"
Harry Styles has revealed he doesn't "imagine I'd do a movie for a while" while discussing his acting plans for the future.
Styles, who delivered his third solo album Harry's House in May, has two films coming out this year, including Olivia Wilde's Don't Worry Darling, and Michael Grandage's My Policeman, and in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Styles spoke about his thoughts on taking his acting career further, revealing that he doesn't "imagine I'd do a movie for a while".
In July Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige teased that Styles will return as Eros in the future after making a brief appearance in the end credits scene of Eternals last year. Speaking about his Eternals cameo, Styles said, "It'd be funny if that was it, wouldn't it?"
Styles also responded to a rumour claiming he'll star in a future Star Wars seres, saying, "That’s the first I've heard of that. I’d imagine … false."
Although he can't be certain about his future acting plans, Styles did say he thinks "there'll be a time again when I’ll crave it. But when you’re making music, something’s happening. It feels really creative, and it feeds stuff. A large part of acting is the doing-nothing, waiting thing. Which if that's the worst part, then it’s a pretty good job. But I don’t find that section of it to be that fulfilling. I like doing it in the moment, but I don’t think I'll do it a lot."
Last week Nardwuar shared a new interview with Harry Styles, and he revealed he once attended a Christmas party at Joni Mitchell's house where he sang "River".
