Harry Styles jokes that he "just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine" at New York show
Harry Styles has addressed claims that he spat on Chris Pine during the Don't Worry Darling premiere at Venice Film Festival earlier this week during last night's (7 September) Madison Square Garden show, jokingly saying that he "just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine".
For the past few days, the internet has been trying to work out if Styles spat on Pine at Venice Film Festival. It comes after a clip showed Styles returning to his seat and slightly leaning over Pine, who then looks down at his lap, stops clapping and smiles.
During last night's Love On Tour show at New York's Madison Square Garden, Styles addressed what people are now calling "spitgate", and joked that he "popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine."
Styles told the crowd, "It's wonderful to be back in New York. I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine... but fear not, we're back!"
