Gwenno, Cate Le Bon and Art School Girlfriend make Welsh Music Prize 2022 shortlist
The shortlist for this year's Welsh Music Prize has been revealed, featuring albums by Gwenno, Cate Le Bon, Art School Girlfriend and more.
Yesterday (3 October) the 112-album longlist for this year's Welsh Music Prize was narrowed down to a 15-album shortlist, which features contributions from Gwenno (who is also up for this year's Mercury Prize), Cate Le Bon, Art School Girlfriend, Manic Street Preachers, Buzzard Buzzard Buuzzard, Adwaith and more.
Last year's Welsh Music Prize was awarded to Kelly Lee Owens for her second album Inner Song.
