Grove returns with the anti-monarchy stomper “BIG BOOTS”
"BIG BOOTS" is their first original new music since the 2022 single “Feed My Desire".
The song features the vocals of EJ:AKIN who performs live alongside Grove, and is backed by a video directed by Jasper Golding and features a 3D rendered Grove stamping on effigies of the royal family and mashing up Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
Speaking of the track, Grove says, “We're told that there's no money for people & public services, but there is £100,000,000 for the coronation for a billionaire. The Royal family are a symbol of all kinds of supremacy - class supremacy, white supremacy, imperialism - and we need to decide how we want to be represented as a country now, and not have it be decided for us. We're being pushed coronation biscuits & bunting in Tescos whilst deportations, housing and living situations become dire.”
"BIG BOOTS" is out now.
