Griff links up with Christopher on "It Could Have Been Us"
Danish pop artist Christopher and Griff have released their new duet, "It Could Have Been Us".
Of the making of ‘It Could Have Been Us’, Christopher shared, “I always knew 'It Could Have Been Us' should be a duet but I also knew it needed the perfect voice to bring it to life," says Christopher, who had a revelation at Parken Stadium in Denmark a while back.
"I saw Griff supporting Coldplay in Copenhagen and she just blew me away! Destiny had it that we were both on tour playing gigs in New York in the autumn of 2023. We met up, and as the fan I am, I told her how amazing I think she is, hoping we could collaborate someday. Luckily, she was up for it, and we connected in Stockholm, where I presented the idea of 'It Could Have Been Us' to her. She loved it, made it her own, and the result is everything I ever dreamed of."
The single precedes Christopher’s extensive upcoming Fool’s Gold tour which will bring him to London’s Islington Assembly Hall on 2 October.
