Green Man Festival 2023 announce longlisted acts for the Green Man Rising competition
The Green Man Rising competition allows artists to submit their music for chance to perform at the Mountain Stage.
Hundreds of acts are whittled down into a longlist, where fans have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artists. The chosen five will compete in a virtual final, with the winner chosen by a panel of industry experts who will decide which act will open the Mountain Stage of the festival.
Green Man have announced that "it was a record number of entrants" for this year, and among the longlisted acts are Bristol quartet Oslo Twins, Speedy Wunderground's Joyeria, London-based band Hank, and Wales' very own Mellt.
