Gorillaz link with Adeleye Omotayo on new song "Silent Running"
Gorillaz have released their first single of 2023, "Silent Running" featuring Adeleye Omotayo, which is the fifth preview of their upcoming album Cracker Island.
"Silent Running" featuring Adeleye Omotayo will appear on Gorillaz's forthcoming album with last year's "Skinny Ape", "Baby Queen", "New Gold" featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown, and their album title-track featuring Thundercat, and was the first track Gorillaz worked on for Cracker Island with Greg Kurstin in LA last year.
Cracker Island will follow their 2020 album Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez, and will include appearances from Stevie Nicks, Bad Bunny and Beck.
"Silent Running" is out now. Gorillaz will release their Cracker Island album on 24 February via Parlophone, and is available to pre-order now.
