Gorillaz debut new Tame Impala collaboration "New Gold" at All Points East 2022
Last Friday (19 August) Gorillaz headlined London's All Points East festival in Victoria Park, and as well as bringing out Popcaan, Moonchild Sanelly, Mos Def, Shaun Ryder and De La Soul, Gorillaz played a brand new song called "New Gold".
Before playing the new song, Damon Albarn told the crowd, "We're gonna play an entirely new song now. It's kind of a mad song, to be honest with you, and I want to introduce Tame Impala ... and Bootie Brown."
This Thursday (25 August) Tame Impala will headline All Points East, which will also feature performances from Caroline Polachek, Caribou, Omar Apollo, Dry Cleaning, The Blaze, Sudan Archives, Working Men's Club and more.
Gorillaz are yet to share a release date for "New Gold". All Points East returns to London's Victoria Park from 25-28 August. Visit allpointseastfestival.com for more information.
