Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle stars in video for Say Now's new single, "Trouble"
Rising girl group Say Now have shared their latest single, "Trouble".
“Trouble is about knowing your worth and being confident in what you're bringing to the table,” share Amelia, Maddie and Yssy. “We want people to listen to it and know that it's ok to be outspoken and that you can have fun and be cheeky whilst doing so.”
Channeling the spirit of girl groups that came before them, Say Now explain their sampling of 90s hit ‘Unbelievable’ by EMF comes from their love of Spice Girls: “When we were writing 'Trouble', our producer Duck told us 'Unbelievable' inspired 'Wannabe', so we thought why not go the extra step and use the actual sample but put our own spin on it.”
"Trouble" arrives accompanied by an official video in which Say Now are detained, shifting between innocent and mischievous versions of themselves in a bid to trick their accuser and the frustrated officer, played by I Kissed A Girl’s Fiorenza Cocozza. With choreography courtesy of Blake John Wood (JADE, Kesha) and direction by Favourite Colour: Black, the video concludes with the girls being bailed out by ‘MOTHER’, Girls Aloud icon, Nadine Coyle.
