Girl Scout announce the forthcoming EP, Headache
Swedish four-piece Girl Scout have returned with "Honey", as the second single to be revealed from the newly announced EP, Headache.
“Honey is about the bittersweet experience of close friends growing apart, heartache and the inevitability to keep everyone in your life at the same time," Emma Jansson of the band explains. "The lyrics delve into the complex emotions of frustration, concern, and helplessness while witnessing the imbalance of that relationship. It was originally written as an acoustic number, but we discovered that it was better suited as our interpretation of a 2010s indie rock song.”
The group released their debut EP, Real Life Human Garbage, in February 2023 and quickly followed it up with Granny Music later that year.
The band will embark on a ten-date tour at the start of next year, including London’s Lower Third on 13 February, alongside shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Bristol, and Brighton.
