Gia Ford unveils standalone single, "Earth Return"
Alternative pop artist Gia Ford has released her latest single, "Earth Return" as the first new music since her debut album, Transparent Things.
“‘Earth Return’ was born out of the desire to be in your most loved place when you die," Gia Ford says. "For me, that’s around where my grandparents lived, in the Hope Valley in Derbyshire, whenever I’m there I feel at ease with everything; as if, I died there right then, it’d be the right thing, and that my spirit would be among my family and even the spirits of versions of me, me as a child, running around there.”
The track is a standalone release, following her debut album, Transparent Things, which was released earlier this year. In celebration of the album, Gia Ford will be embarking on her first UK headline tour this month, kicking off in Bristol on 10 November and running until 19 November in her hometown Sheffield,
"Earth Return" is out now. Remaining tickets for her forthcoming tour can be purchased here.
