George FitzGerald unveils new song "Setting Sun"
George FitzGerald has delivered a fourth outing from his upcoming album Stellar Drifting titled "Setting Sun".
After teaming up with SOAK last month on "Rainbows and Dreams", FitzGerald has released new track "Setting Sun", which will appear on his Stellar Drifting album with earlier singles "Cold" and "Ultraviolet".
He says of the new song, ""Setting Sun" was made to record a moment between great changes - the excitement of a new beginning mixed with the sadness of an ending. I wanted to capture the grandeur and timelessness of electronic music from previous eras, which is so good at conveying this particular combination of emotions. It was written and recorded across a few magical days with my good friends Lawrence Hart and Mike Le Sirge."
Stellar Drifting will follow FitzGerald's 2018 album All That Must Be, and 2020's OTHERLiiNE album with Lil Silva. The album will also feature contributions from Panda Bear and London Grammar.
"Setting Sun" is out now. George FitzGerald's Stellar Drifting album will land on 2 September via Double Six / Domino, and is available to pre-order now. He'll play London's KOKO on 6 October. Visit george-fitzgerald.com for tickets.
