Fräulein share "Pruning" as final preview of their forthcoming mini-album
Irish/Dutch two-piece Fräulein have shared "Pruning" as the final taster from their incoming debut mini-album, Sink Or Swim.
“Pruning” imagines what happens after the good guys win and the ‘happily ever after’ starts” explains vocalist/guitarist Joni Samuels. “Will this happily ever after last forever? Will the sacrifices you made along the way be worth it, and do they affect you in the long run?”
"Pruning" follows previous singles, "Feels Like Flying", "The Last Drop", and "Wait And See". The forthcoming mini-album Sink Or Swim was made in collaboration with US-born, London-based outfit Cosmorat.
“I reject the belief that an artist should arrive fully-formed,” says Samuels. “I love when you can see artists’ growth, their progression. I want to always be getting better at playing music, at expressing emotion. This new record, Sink Or Swim, is the first time we’ve really translated what we can do live to the recording studio.”
Sink Or Swim is set for release on 14 June via Submarine Cat Records, and is available to pre-order now.
