Fräulein return with the new single, "The Last Drop"
Northern Irish/Dutch duo Fräulein – AKA Joni Samuels and Karsten van der Tol – have shared new single, "The Last Drop"’.
"The Last Drop" hears the duo double down on their shoegaze/grunge aesthetic which was showcased earlier this year via their Pedestal EP.
“It’s about manic uncertainty, the confusing, exasperating and self-destructive patterns that you can fall into after the end of a relationship” explains Joni Samuels of the track. “It’s meant to represent all of those feelings, which is why the song feels like a bit of a rollercoaster, but it’s short and intense, as those feelings tend to be”.
Following a summer spent on the road with Be Your Own Pet, Samuels and van der Tol are set to hit the road across Europe supporting Big Joanie.
"The Last Drop" is out now via Submarine Cat Records.
