Frank Ocean hints at new album on posters by saying he’s "interested in more durational bodies of work”
Fans think Frank Ocean is hinting at a new album on the back of his recent Blonded posters, which says he's "changed his mind about the singles model, and is again interested in more durational bodies of work."
Earlier this week some images of the posters fans bought from Frank Ocean's recent Blonded merch drop appeared online, and the back of the posters feature a story about a "fictitious recordings artist", and how he's "interested in more durational bodies of work." Fans believe the passage is about Frank Ocean himself, and could be hinting at his next full-length release with his headline slots at Coachella 2023 just a few months away.
It's been over six years since Frank Ocean's Blonde album, and in the text, Frank Ocean recalls having plans for 2019 including a photo series with Succession actor Jeremy Strong (he appears on one of the recent Blonded merch t-shirts), and writes about his NYC PrEP+ parties, which "were intended to grow from small club events to larger raves across the world."
The passage concludes by stating that the "recording artist has since changed his mind about the singles model, and is again interested in more durational bodies of work."
