Four people in critical condition following suspected crush at Asake Brixton show
A suspected crowd crush while people were attempting to enter London's O2 Academy Brixton to see Asake last night (15 December) has resulted in eight people being hospitalised, with four in a critical condition.
Police were called to the venue at 9:35pm GMT last night (15 December) while responding to reports of a large number of people attempting to force their way into the venue. Police said they "found a number of people with injuries believed to have been caused by crushing."
Asake was forced to cancel his concert just 10 minutes after appearing on stage, and told the crowd, "They said outside is fucked up already. So we have to end the show. I don’t know why. It’s not me."

Multiple posts on social media claim that many people turned up without tickets, or with fake tickets.
Last Sunday (11 December), Asake shared a post reiterating that people shouldn't attend his O2 Academy Brixton shows "if you do not have a valid ticket."
