FOCUS Wales add more artists and announce Janice Long tribute show with BBC Radio Wales
FOCUS Wales have announced a Janice Long tribute show with BBC Radio Wales, alongside 65 new artist additions to the line-up.
The festival and conference has announced a special showcase with a live BBC Introducing Wales broadcast show in tribute to the late, great, BBC broadcaster, Janice Long.
Set to take place on Saturday 11 May at Ty Pawb, Wrexham, and working together with the BBC, the festival team have co-curated a special lineup of artists that Janice loved. Cara Hammond, Laura J Martin, Pixy Jones, and Kidsmoke, are all set to perform on the night, which will be presented by Janice's colleague and dear friend, the broadcaster Adam Walton.
Among new artists are Dactyl Terra, Laura J Martin, Mellt, Pixie Jones, Wylderness and more, who join the previously announced headliners, which this year includes the likes of Spiritualized, The Mysterines, The Royston Club, Deerhoof, Adwaith, Antony Szmierek, and many more.
FOCUS Wales takes place over the 9-11 May in Wrexham City Centre. Festival passes and tickets are on sale now at focuswales.com
