First Aid Kit release new track "A Feeling That Never Came"
First Aid Kit have unveiled new song "A Feeling That Never Came" as the fourth taster of their upcoming album Palomino.
"A Feeling That Never Came" is, according to the duo, "a song about emptiness. Those times in your life when you expect to feel joy or sorrow, but instead you just feel numb. This was the last song we recorded for the album - originally intended more as a b-side, it has quickly become one of our favorites. We feel like the softer, quieter vocals married so well with the Marc Bolan-inspired guitars and groove. It's a soft quiet banger."
The track will appear on their Palomino album with previous singles "Turning Onto You", "Out of My Head" and "Angel".
Palomino will follow First Aid Kit's 2018 album Ruins, and was written and recorded in Sweden with producer Daniel Bengtson.
"A Feeling That Never Came" is out now. First Aid Kit's Palomino album will be released on 4 November via Columbia Records, and is available to pre-order now.
