Fiona Apple releases new song from The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power soundtrack
To coincide with the release of episode seven of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power today (7 October), Fiona Apple has released a song from the soundtrack titled "Where the Shadows Lie".
"Where the Shadows Lie", composed by Bear McCreary, features vocals from Fiona Apple, and is adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien's One Ring poem that featured in the original books.
The song (which is an Amazon Music exclusive due to the series being an Amazon Original), follows Fiona Apple's July cover of Charlie Rich’s "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World".
Last year Fiona Apple covered Sharon Van Etten’s "Love More" for epic Ten. Her latest album Fetch The Bolt Cutters arrived in 2020.
"Where the Shadows Lie" is available to stream on Amazon Music now.
