Final two UK cities in the running to host Eurovision Song Contest 2023 revealed
The list of UK cities in the running to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest has been narrowed down to two, and a final decision will be made in the coming weeks.
Last month it was revealed that Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Sheffield were the shortlisted cities to host next year's Eurovision, and today (27 September) it's been revealed that the final two cities in the running are Glasgow and Liverpool.
According to the Eurovision site, "further discussions will now take place with officials from Glasgow and Liverpool and a final decision will be made within weeks."

In June it was revealed that the UK was being considered to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest after Ukraine was ruled out following a "full assessment" on "safety and security issues" due to the ongoing war, and a month later it was confirmed that the UK will host the competition in 2023.
