Faye Webster returns with new single "But Not Kiss"
Returning after a two-year hiatus, Faye Webster shares the brand new single, "But Not Kiss".
"But Not Kiss" follows on from Webster's 2021 album, I Know I'm Funny haha, and the Car Therapy Sessions, which was made up of new, and reimagined versions of songs from her I Know I'm Funny haha and Atlanta Millionaires Club albums.
“I think it could be a really romantic song or a really anti-romantic song,” explains Webster of "But Not Kiss". “It’s something I’ve looked for but struggled to find in other love songs, for them to describe this conflict or contradiction.”
Along with the new single, Webster has released a companion music video directed by Kyle Ng of Brain Dead and filmed at Los Angeles’ famed Bob Baker Marionette Theatre.
To celebrate the video release Webster has collaborated with Brain Dead on a limted edition t-shirt that will be available exclusively at a launch event Brain Dead Studios in Los Angeles, tonight, that will include a live performance, a ping pong tournament, a screening of the “But Not Kiss” video and a Q&A.
