Fatoumata Diawara shares new track "Massa Den" feat. -M-
Fatoumata Diawara releases "Massa Den", the second single from her forthcoming album.
The new track sees Diawar reunite with her old touring partner from Lamomali, -M-, who she collaborated with on her previous album Fenfo which was released in 2018.
"Massa Den" follows the forthcoming album's debut track "Nsera". Of the new release, Diawar explains: "Love is free, love cannot be forced upon someone. Let those who love each other be together. Who has upset the man my heart and soul have chosen? Who is talking behind my lover’s back. He is the one who carries the hope of a nation on his shoulders. Don’t mess about with Mansaden, the king’s son, the prince and the man I love!"
Fatoumata Diawara recently announced the release of her new album London Ko. The album is co-produced by Diawara, Daniel Florestano and Damon Albarn. It also includes a host of guest musicians, including Damon Albarn, Angie Stone, Roberto Fonseca, M.anifest and Yemi Alade.
Diawara is set to play End of the Road Festival later this year.
London Ko will be released on 12 May via Wagram Music and is available to pre-order now.
