Fans think The Walkmen might be reuniting
The Walkmen have shared a clip of them performing "The Rat" live on socials, leading fans to think they could be about to reunite.
Last night (6 November) on socials, The Walkmen updated their socials with a new video of them performing "The Rat" live. The band didn't include a caption for the post, but fans have been speculating in the comments, with many thinking it's hinting at a reunion.
One wrote, "I’m on team #reunion," while another added, "Oh lord please let this mean that there's a reunion coming." Another fan commented, "Website shows signing up for updates! Something’s going down!"
The Walkmen entered an extended hiatus in December 2013, and during a Reddit AMA in 2020, lead singer Hamilton Leithauser answered a question about a possible reunion, saying, "No plans right now, but I guess stranger things are happening every fifteen minutes right now... so you never know."
