Ezra Williams shares new single "Until I’m Home"
The single is the latest release from their forthcoming debut album, Supernumeraries.
Speaking about the introspective track, Williams says: “I wrote this song on the train home from hanging out with my girlfriend at the time. I overthink everything and cannot be left alone with my own thoughts for a second or I’ll feel like the world is collapsing in on me.”
"Until I'm Home" follows on from previous releases "Bleed", and "Deep Routed" which features GHRIAN. Supernumeraries is preceded by 2021 EP Stuck and IS IT which was released in 2019.
Ezra Williams offers an often overlooked take on emotional relationships through the lens of a young person who is both gender non-binary and on the Autism spectrum. Their music speaks to those who don’t often see themselves reflected in media.
Their single "My Own Person" was featured in the Netflix drama Heartstopper, and they recently performed at Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition 2023. Following the release of their debut album, they will be back out on the road.
"Until I'm Home" is out now. Supernumeraries arrives on 16 June via AWAL and is available to pre-order.
