Everything Everything among speakers for Manchester event aimed at inspiring the next generation of artists and creators
Everything Everything, OneDa, Phoebe Green, Chris Hawkins and more will deliver talks, workshops and networking for Manchester’s next generation of sound, music and game talent at dBs Institute of Sound & Digital Technologies this month.
The 2025 edition of the Institute's ‘Industry Week’ will comprise a full week of cross-industry workshops, talks and networking events for students at its Manchester campus from 10-15 February.
Every year, each of dBs’s three campuses opens its doors to some of the most influential and inspiring names in its local industry; hosting a full programme of workshops, talks, Q&As and networking events geared towards introducing its students to the full, ever-changing breadth of the music and sound industries.
The programme kicks off on Monday, 10 February with a workshop from local rapper OneDa who will host a workshop on the writing and production behind her debut album Formula OneDa before joining fellow Manchester artists Akemi Foxx and J Chambers for a panel, Beyond Beats and Bars.
Thursday evening sees dBs open to the public as Everything Everything's Jeremy Pritchard drops in for an interview session and Q&A, which is also open to the public. "It’s always inspiring to engage with the next generation of artists and creators," Pritchard says. "I look forward to sharing insights, ideas, and conversations with such a dynamic community."
Among other highlights, BBC 6Music’s Chris Hawkins will record a live podcast on how to DJ and there's a live A&R feedback and advice session with Luke Burrowes of Bigger Picture Entertainment will offer students the opportunity to get feedback on their work.
