Leeds-based band English Teacher have announced a five-track EP, Live From BBC Maida Vale Studios.
Formed from BBC sessions, the group’s upcoming release features two covers – "Birds of a Feather" (Billie Eilish) and "New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down" (LCD Soundsystem) – alongside standout album tracks "The World’s Biggest Paving Slab", "This Could Be Texas" and "You Blister My Paint".
The forthcoming EP follows their Mercury Prize-nominated debut album, This Could Be Texas, which was released earlier this year.
English Teacher’s ‘Live From BBC Maida Vale Studios’ is out on 30 August via Island Records and will be available on all platforms.
