
End Of The Road Festival announces day splits for 2024
End Of The Road Festival has announced its day splits for the 2024 event which takes place from 29 August - 1 September at Larmer Tree Gardens.
With recently announced Comedy and Literature bill featuring comedians Janine Harouni, Fern Brady, Stewart Lee, plus authors Richard King, Marchelle Farrell, Simon Raymonde and many more, End Of The Road Festival, with its completed lineup, have announced its day splits.
Performing on the opening night, on the Woods Stage, is the Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble, who will warm up the crowd before Bonnie “Prince” Billy closes proceedings of the evening. On Friday, the Woods Stage sees IDLES promising a raging headline set, following Riot Grrrl legends Sleater Kinney. Saturday on The Woods will see shoegaze icons Slowdive as well as the shapeshifting electronica of Jockstrap, whilst Sunday on The Woods stage will be brought to a close by the high theatrics of Fever Ray, a UK festival exclusive at End Of The Road for 2024.
The Garden Stage will play host to the likes of Niger’s cult DIY hero Mdou Moctar, harpist Mary Lattimore and with Mercury Prize nominees Lankum headlining on Friday. Richard Hawley will cradle those in attendance into the late hours as he headlines The Garden on Saturday, while the stage comes to a close on Sunday with US indie auteurs Yo La Tengo.
The Folly Stage offers the chance to catch the very best in upcoming artists, with Nashville rockers Snõõper, Brighton firebrands Lambrini Girls, London goth-punks Heartworms performing across the weekend. Meanwhile, Hot Wax, Militarie Gun and Water From Your Eyes are already promising to be festival highlights at The Big Top stage.
End of the Road Festival takes place from 29 August - 1 September at Larmer Tree Gardens. Final tickets are available from endoftheroadfestival.com.
