Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach announce new box set with three live recordings
Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach are celebrating their 30-year songwriting partnership with The Songs of Bacharach & Costello box set, and have shared three rare live recordings to accompany the announcement.
Costello and Bacharach is a celebration of their three-decade working relationship, which started in 1995, and is a box set personally compiled by Costello. The Songs of Bacharach & Costello will feature the remastered Painted From Memory album, a new collection titled Taken From Life, live recordings, new and unreleased songs, a 10,000-word essay by Costello, unseen photographs and more.
To accompany the announcement, Costello and Bacharach have released live recordings from 1998 and 1999 of "In The Darkest Place", "Painted From Memory" and "Anyone Who Had A Heart".
The Songs of Bacharach & Costello box set will arrive via UMe on 3 March, and is available to pre-order now.
