Elton John's last ever UK show will be a headline slot at Glastonbury 2023
Elton John has been confirmed as the first Glastonbury 2023 headliner, and it'll mark his final UK show.
Earlier this week people speculated that Elton John would be headlining next year's Glastonbury Festival after he teased "One final date" to announce on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, and Emily Eavis liked several tweets about people spotting a "rocket" in the sky over Worthy Farm, and this morning (2 December) it's been confirmed that John will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday at Glastonbury 2023, marking his last ever UK show.

In a statement on socials, Emily Eavis wrote, "This will be the final UK show of Elton's last ever tour, so we will be closing the festival and marking this huge moment in both of our histories with the mother of all send offs. We are so very happy to finally bring the Rocket Man to Worthy Farm!"
