Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time
It's been revealed that Elton John's ongoing Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time.
Billboard reports that John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which he started in September 2018, has grossed over $817 million across 278 shows so far, making it the highest-grossing tour in Boxscore history
John's tour is the first tour in Billboard's archives to pass $800 million, and overtakes Ed Sheeran’s The Divide Tour in 2019, which grossed over $776.4 million.
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour is reported to be John's final tour, and in December last year, it was announced that the final UK show of his final tour will be a headline performance at Glastonbury 2023.
Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will resume on 23 March in Liverpool. Visit eltonjohn.com for more information.
