Ellie Goulding delays Higher Than Heaven album and teases new single "Like A Saviour"
Ellie Goulding has revealed that her Higher Than Heaven album has been delayed until March, but she did confirm that a new single titled "Like A Saviour" is "coming soon".
Higher Than Heaven was originally due to arrive on 3 February, but in a new Instagram post yesterday (9 January), Ellie Goulding announced that it's been delayed until 24 March.
Goulding wrote, "To my incredible fans- I’m sorry to announce that we’re delaying the release of Higher Than Heaven to March 24. I know you’ve all been so patient with me but we’ve had some exciting opportunities appear behind the scenes which I cannot wait to share with you in due course. In the meantime as a thank you for your patience, Im excited to confirm that my new single is called "Like A Saviour". It’s coming soon, we’ve shot the video and it’s one of my favourite videos I’ve ever done. And as a small thank you for bearing with me I wanted to give you a first look at it. We also shot something really exciting this past weekend that’ll come around the album’s release. More on that very soon…"
Higher Than Heaven will follow Goulding's 2020 album Brightest Blue, and saw her work with Greg Kurstin (Sia, Maggie Rogers, Elton John), Jessie Shatkin (Charli XCX, Years & Years), Koz (Sam Ryder, Madonna, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Wells (Halsey, Yungblud).
Ellie Goulding's Higher Than Heaven album will now arrive on 24 March, and it's available to pre-order now.
