Ellie Bleach releases the new single, "Lakehouse"
London-based singer/songwriter Ellie Bleach returns with the brand new single, "Lakehouse".
Ellie Bleach's new single follows standalone track "Pamela", which was released earlier this summer.
On the new single Ellie says; "Lakehouse is narrated by a silver spoon heiress with a marriage at breaking point. She’s attempting to patch things up with a trip to their family’s lake house. I love creating characters who are repressing or restraining something primal, so it feels fitting to suggest the wife’s jealousy could turn murderous, as hinted by the track’s lyrics – ‘you’re gonna die when you see it,’ ‘it’s dangerous in the country darling,’ ‘wring the neck of what we used to be."
Ellie Bleach is set to perform with Girl Ray on two of their UK tour dates and will support Gabe Coulter at London's Sebright Arms on 28 September.
"Lakehouse" is out now on Sad Club Records.
