Ed Sheeran releases new track "Boat"
After giving the song its live debut in Paris two weeks ago, Ed Sheeran finally releases "Boat".
Written by the English seaside amidst the extreme elements of winter, "Boat" is the first song Sheeran wrote for his new album.
"Boat" follows the release of Ed’s 14th UK No.1 single "Eyes Closed" – a feat that saw Sheeran land the third-most chart-toppers in UK history, behind Elvis and The Beatles.
The official video, which is directed by Mia Barnes, further cements the message of the song which is a metaphor for depression.
His new documentary Ed Sheeran: The Sum of it All will be airing on Disney+ on 3 May.
Ed Sheeran's forthcoming fifth studio album - (Subtract) will be released on 5 May through Asylum/Atlantic and is available to pre-order now.
