EASYFUN announces his new moniker alongside forthcoming album, The Finn Keane Album
EASYFUN has released his new single “Laplander (Finn Keane Remix)” alongside the announcement of a forthcoming album and name change.
Finn Keane is now redefining himself. At his PC Music POP CRYPT II performance in London this Halloween, Keane will officially bid farewell to his artist pseudonym EASYFUN at midnight. His rebrand to Finn Keane, spurred by a now-resolved legal battle with easyJet, has presented him with an opportunity for creative reinvention.
This new chapter will be ushered in by his upcoming LP, The Finn Keane Album – a collection of his work under the EASYFUN moniker, as well as tracks that have been reimagined through the lens of Finn Keane.
Keane made his mark with easyFun EP, the inaugural release from the influential PC Music label. His subsequent releases, include Deep Trouble EP — which features the original version of "Laplander" — as well as EPs ELECTRIC and ACOUSTIC.
Since then, his production credits appear on some of Charli XCX’s most iconic projects such as Pop 2, Number 1 Angel, “Speed Drive” and seminal work on her recent album BRAT.
