Dutch Mustard shares Bill Ryder-Jones co-written single, "Loser"
London based shoegaze artist Dutch Mustard has released her new single, "Loser", which was co-written by Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral).
The origin story of the song is one of chutzpah, as SJ boldly dropped her latest demos into the DMs of big-name producers she admired to make this track a reality. The track was co-written and co-produced with indie icon Bill Ryder-Jones, with mix notes from TV on The Radio’s Dave Sitek and arrangement input from William Doyle.
As SJ explains: ""Loser” is about making peace with heartbreak. We move on by accepting our feelings and understanding that not everyone speaks the truth. This doesn't mean we stop being truthful, just more careful with who we trust."
On Dutch Mustard’s infectious enthusiasm for the craft Bill Ryder-Jones says: "'I love working with SJ....she's fucking hard to keep up with like. She has this knack of coming up with great ideas when I'm still admiring the last one.”
"Loser" is out now via DM Records.
