Dreamy alt-rock artist Dutch Mustard announces new EP, Beauty, alongside the lead single, "Dirty Queen".
Netherlands born, London based Sarah-Jayne Riedel's latest single, "Dirty Queen" looks at how perceptions can be misguided, especially in people's perception of rock music, as she explains: ""Dirty Queen" is a sarcastic love story. Where "fear of love" can cause mayhem."
Across the piece, her take has been that rock music shouldn't have to be grungy and unhealthy, and actually there's space for glamour, and for rock music to be accessible to all people without submission to staid tropes.
Dutch Mustard’s forthcoming EP Beauty is out on 17 November via DM Records
