Sum 41 close out Friday night, following a performance by Jessie Ware. Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Breeders, Tom Morello, Alvvays, Sleaford Mods and Black Pumas are also on the day's bill. Mad Cool Festival 2024 has its final celebrations on Saturday 13 July, with Avril Lavigne, Bring Me The Horizon, Arlo Parks, Ashnikko, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Genesis Owusu and more.
The forthcoming festival comes with improvements in the overall attendee experience, following feedback from previous attendees. The 2024 edition will see a reduction in the number of stages, going from eight to six, as well as a general reduction in public capacity, aiming to improve flows within the festival and reduce schedule conflicts and artist overlaps.
Additionally, Mad Cool will enhance general festival services, with measures such as increasing drinking water stations, the number and distribution of toilets, bar lengths, and bracelet recharge points, as well as creating new relaxation and rest areas, along with more shaded spaces.
Mad Cool Festival 2023 takes place from 10-13 July in Madrid. General four day tickets are available from €220 + booking fee. Tickets go on general sale 15 December at 11am via madcooltickets.com.
