Doja Cat shares the new track “Paint the Town Red"
Following the release of "Attention" earlier this year, Doja Cat returns with "Paint the Town Red".
The single arrives with a video directed by Fergie collaborator Nina McNeely and is inspired by three paintings Doja Cat designed. The new track was produced by Earl On The Beat and samples Dionne Warwick’s 1964 hit song “Walk on By".
"Attention” was Doja Cat’s first solo release of the year, and just her second offering after appearing on SZA’s “Kill Bill” remix. Her most recent album, Planet Her, arrived in 2021.
Doja Cat is set to appear during Victoria’s Secret’s Prime Video broadcast, The Tour ’23, on 26 September. Later this year, Doja Cat will embark on her first headlining North American tour, the Scarlet Tour, with Ice Spice and Doechii joining as openers.
"Paint the Town Red" is out now.
