Dionne Warwick and Dolly Parton are releasing a gospel song together this month
Dionne Warwick has revealed that she's worked with Dolly Parton on a new gospel song titled "Peace Like a River", which is due to arrive later this month.
While appearing on the Tamron Hall Show, it was revealed that Dionne Warwick has a new song coming out this month with Dolly Parton.
Warwick said of the collaboration, "Well she sent me a song that she wanted me to record, and I said, ‘Okay, that sounds like a deal'."
"She's such a sweetheart," Warwick continued, "I know her. And she sent me another song, the one that we’re going to be doing as a duet. It’s a gospel song called "Peace Like a River". She wrote it, and I am very excited about this. I really am. I’ve done so many duets over the years, but this one’s going to be very special."
Dolly Parton recently co-hosted Miley Cyrus' New Year's Eve special, and performed songs including "Wrecking Ball", "I Will Always Love You", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", "Jolene" and more with Cyrus.
