Demi Lovato says a collaboration with Kelly Clarkson is a "high possibility"
In an interview with Andy Cohen for his SiriusXM show, Demi Lovato revealed that Kelly Clarkson is on her dream list of collaborations.
During the interview, Lovato said that she idolised Clarkson when she was growing up, even choosing the name of her email account to reflect this: "I’ve never worked with Kelly Clarkson, and I love her so much and I grew up idolising her – her and Christina Aguilera – my first email was littlekelly@yahoo.com with some numbers. I won’t tell you which ones.”
She went on to add that working with Clarkson is a "life goal" of hers, and something that could actually be attainable. “We just have to find the right song. We’ve definitely talked about it in the past, so it’s like not in the works, but it’s a high possibility," she said. "It’s just like finding the right song that the both of us can belt on would be dope".
Last week, Demi Lovato announced the forthcoming album, REVAMPED, featuring rock versions of her hit songs. The announcement coincided with the release of "Sorry Not Sorry (Rock Version) which features Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.
Also included on the album, will be the previously released tracks “Heart Attack (Rock Version)” and “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)".
REVAMPED follow's Demi Lovato's eight studio album, HOLY FVCK released in 2022, which featured singles “29”, “SUBSTANCE”, and "SKIN OF MY TEETH". The album saw Lovato return to her rock and pop-punk roots and included features from Yungblud, Royal & The Serpent, and Dead Sara.
REVAMPED arrives on 15 September. Demi Lovato's forthcoming ninth studio album is now available to pre-order.
