DEADLETTER further preview debut album with "Mother"
DEADLETTER have shared "Mother" as the latest track to be taken from their forthcoming debut album, Hysterical Strength.
"Mother takes direct inspiration from the Bong Joon Ho film of the same name, but also hones in on the wider idea of motherhood, and the lengths that a mother will go to for their child," lead singer Zac Lawrence says about the song.
Speaking further on the album, he adds: “Being able to take something disgusting or disgraceful and make it sound nice through the power of music, that juxtaposition appeals to me".
Later this year, DEADLETTER will perform across Munich, Vienna, Berlin, Antwerp and many other European cities before they land in the UK to play in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, before finishing with a headline show at Electric Brixton on 16 November.
Hysterical Strength is set for release on 13 September via SO Recordings.
