Dame Helen Mirren plays Kendrick Lamar's therapist in new "Count Me Out" video
Kendrick Lamar has unveiled the video for his Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers track "Count Me Out", which sees Dame Helen Mirren star in the visual as his therapist.
Last Friday (16 December) Lamar shared the Dave Free and Lamar-directed video for "Count Me Out", one of the songs from his 2022 album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. As well as starring Lamar himself, the video features Dame Helen Mirren, who plays his therapist.
The "Count Me Out" video follows Lamar's "Rich Spirit" video that arrived in November, and September's "We Cry Together" short film, which co-stars Taylour Paige and was got a short LA theatre release in June.
Last month Mirren contributed to the audiobook version of Bob Dylan's The Philosophy of Modern Song book alongside Steve Buscemi, Oscar Isaac, Jeff Bridges, Renée Zellweger, Rita Moreno, Jeffrey Wright and more.
