Cut Worms shares new double single "I'll Never Make It" b/w "Don't Fade Out"
Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Cut Worms (aka Max Clarke) presents two new singles – “I’ll Never Make It” b/w “Don’t Fade Out”.
Following the lead single, “Ballad of the Texas King”, today’s singles see Clarke release the double singles, “I’ll Never Make It” b/w “Don’t Fade Out”, which are all taken from the forthcoming self-titled debut album.
Cut Worms is a response to 2020’s Nobody Lives Here Anymore, Clarke’s expansive double-LP recorded in Memphis. Clarke leaves behind recording an entire album in one chunk at one studio, and sought after producers, for a more homegrown approach, working with a cast of gifted friends and collaborators.
Next Friday, Clarke will begin a special, intimate residency at Union Pool in Brooklyn, NY. Across three already sold-out shows, he will be joined by comedian Joe Pera, album collaborators the Lemon Twigs, rising star Joanna Sternberg, and Adam Green.
“I’ll Never Make It” b/w “Don’t Fade Out” are out now. Cut Worms' self-titled third studio album arrives on 21 July via Jagjaguwar, and is available to pre-order now.
