Courting cover Charli XCX and Icona Pop's "I Love It"
Liverpool's Courting have released a cover of Icona Pop and Charli XCX's 2012 hit "I Love It".
More than a decade on from Icona Pop and Charli XCX's huge party anthem "I Love It", Liverpool four-piece Courting have unveiled their own version of the track.
DIY reports that Courting said of the cover, "This song accidentally became a live staple on our previous tour, and we decided that we had to record it. It is silly, shouty, faithful, and a mere drop of water in the ocean of how much we adore Charli XCX. We are forever grateful for her artistry."
Last Friday (20 January) Charli XCX and The 1975's George Daniel remixed Caroline Polachek's "Welcome To My Island".
Courting's cover of "I Love It" is available on Bandcamp now.
