Community creator Dan Harmon says Donald Glover is "down to clown" in upcoming film
It looks like Donald Glover will be appearing in the upcoming Community film, as the show's creator Dan Harmon has said that Glover is "down to clown".
Back in September it was officially announced that a Community film was in the works, but Donald Glover wasn't included in the initial announcement. While speaking at Variety's recent Business Managers Breakfast, the show's creator Dan Harmon revealed that he can't imagine making the film without Glover.
"For lack of a better word, there was a ball fumbled… [Glover] is down to clown," Harmon said. "Man, I would not want to think about making [the movie] without Donald."
Community: The Movie is currently being written, and is expected to arrive in 2023. It's due to star original cast members Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong.
The fourth and final season of Donald Glover's Atlanta series will continue this week on FX.
