Coach Party shares their heaviest track to date on "Parasite"
Fresh from supporting Queens Of The Stone Age in the UK and EU, Coach Party have today shared their latest single, "Parasite", which features on their forthcoming debut record KILLJOY.
Speaking about the track, Coach Party’s Guy Page says: “Everyone has those people in their lives that they’ll do anything to avoid. If you don’t, you might be one of those people, and this song is for you: the parasite in human form, whose sole purpose on this earth is to drain the energy, creativity and enthusiasm of generous people. When you see their name flash up on your phone, you genuinely consider eating it. As what is arguably our most heavy track on KILLJOY, the pace and sonics are a direct reflection of how irritating and soul-destroying these parasites are. Take our advice: starve them of your good vibes, and eventually they’ll move on.”
"Parasite" follows Coach Party’s recent single "What’s The Point In Life", "All I Wanna Do Is Hate", and "Born Leader", which were released earlier this year. KILLJOY represents the culmination of four years of constant graft including three EPs (2020’s Party Food, 2021’s After Party and 2022's Nothing Is Real).
"Parasite" is out now. Coach Party's debut album, KILLJOY, will be released on 8 September via Chess Club Records, and is available to pre-order.
