Clean Bandit join the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Queen by having four songs with a billion streams on Spotify
GRAMMY-winning trio Clean Bandit have obtained a billion streams on four songs. The only other UK bands in the Spotify's Billions Club at this level are Queen, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, and One Direction.
Their release, "Solo" (feat. Demi Lovato) has just hit the milestone, following their hits "Rather Be", "Rockabye", and "Symphony".
Originally released in May 2018, "Solo" became Clean Bandit’s fourth UK number one and gave featured vocalist Demi Lovato her first ever chart-topping single. By the end of the year, the track was announced as 2018’s most searched song on Shazam and received two BRIT nominations. In June 2023, their self-made surreal music video for "Solo" reached over a billion views on YouTube, Clean Bandit’s third video to do so after "Rockabye" and "Symphony". All three videos were directed by the band.
